Transit Improvements on 8 Mile Rd.

Bus Stop

The Eight Mile Boulevard Association receives Air Quality grants to install bus stops, bus shelters and transit hubs along 8 Mile Road during 2006. Both suburban and Detroit bus users will benefit from these improvements.

New Transit Center for Downtown Detroit

The Rosa Parks Transit Center will begin construction in 2006 using federal and state funds. DDOT, SMART and Transit Windsor will serve the new center.
