TRU is honored to host our fifth annual Regional Transit Awards dinner on Thursday evening May 12, 2016.
Each spring, TRU hosts a Regional Transit Awards dinner to:
- Bring together the community of regional transit supporters,
- Celebrate extraordinary groups and individuals fighting for improved transit, and
- Raise money for TRU’s ongoing work as Detroit’s nonprofit transit advocate.

Nominations
Who do you think should be recognized at this year’s awards dinner? Please submit your nominations by February 29. A set of awardees will be selected in March and announced in April.
Upcoming
Many additional plans are currently being developed and will be announced as finalized. We will be seeking event sponsors throughout February and March. Tickets will be available in late March.
