Our Friends of Transit Network

What does it mean to be a Friend of Transit?

You agree that transit is important. Public transit needs more investment, and that metro Detroit needs more and better transit. TRU’s Friends of Transit Network gives you an opportunity to voice that support and meet like minded people, organizations, and causes.

What you get by being a Friend of Transit:

  • Monthly email updates on top transit-related news, events, and opportunities
  • Quarterly briefings, conference calls, or other opportunities for allies to learn, advise, and engage
  • Concrete opportunities to take meaningful actions

  • TRU will offer to give presentations to your staff, network, or community
  • Answers to transit-related questions, as feasible
  • Occasionally share your info in TRU’s newsletter
