Our transit system enables our neighbors with disabilities to access jobs, healthcare, social opportunities and improve their quality of life.

Supports Young People

Many younger people can’t afford to drive or don’t want to be dependent on a car. Transit gives students and recent grads more affordable opportunities and makes them less likely to move to other cities.

Macomb Transit is More Than Just Buses

Large buses are used on fixed-routes that run every 20 minutes to hour for most of the day. These routes are along major corridors and mile roads, and act as the “bones” of our transit system.

Dial-a-ride Flex vans provide door-to-door rides in specific areas, for anyone. These are an on-demand service like a cheaper, carpooled Uber or Lyft.

Paratransit is a door-to-door transportation service for seniors, people with disabilities, and anyone who cannot drive. This service goes anywhere in the county, and can connect riders to fixed-route buses as well.
