New Detroit transit center to open next Tuesday (July 14)

The new Detroit Rosa Parks Transit Center will be opening next Tuesday, July 14.

Most bus coming to downtown Detroit will come to this facility, including DDOT, SMART, and Transit Windsor buses. Located at Michigan and Cass, it is also adjacent to the Michigan Ave and Times Square People Mover stations. Bus maps, tickets, and other information will be available, along with an attractive, comfortable place to wait for your bus.

It is southeast Michigan’s largest transit hub and the first of its kind in Detroit. The 25,700 square-foot multimodal facility is dedicated to Rosa Parks’ role in history and her special relationship to Detroit, her adopted home.
