Can I take the bus there?
Yes! All buses that go downtown go within a few blocks of the Guardian Building (Griswold and Congress). Use Google Transit to find your route.
If I’m driving, where can I park?
Valet parking is available for $10 (free for Patron-level attendees). Just pull up to the awning at the main entrance of the Guardian Building.
Or if you prefer, there is usually street parking available and meters are free after 6:00pm.
I work downtown. Can I arrive early?
Yes. Doors open at 5:30pm, especially for downtown workers.
I get off work late. Is it okay if I arrive at 6:30 or 6:45pm?
Yes. The last tour leaves at 7:00pm.
Oops! I haven’t registered yet. Is it too late?
No. We still have a few spaces available. But please call the TRU office to let us know you’re coming.
What is the cost?
Tickets start at $50 each and include ample hors d’oeuvres, drinks, the special tour, and reception.
Is the ticket price tax deductible?
Yes, 80% of the ticket price is tax-deductible as a donation to TRU. All proceeds support our critical work to improve and promote public transit throughout greater Detroit!
Can I pay when I arrive?
Yes, with cash, checks, visa or mastercard.
