Make sure you attend the Detroit Department of Transportation public hearings tomorrow, April 5, 2012 to voice your concerns about the proposed bus service cuts that will take effect April 28. The proposed changes will mean longer times between buses on most of the city’s bus lines. Official waits would go from 20 minutes to 30 minutes during peak weekday hours. CEO Ron Freeland said the department will take into account public comments at hearings set for next week. For additional information regarding the hearings and cuts, call (313) 933-1300.
