Are you tired of the lack of accountability afforded to our state and gubernatorial officials? Come bird-dogging with TRU! Birddogging is when activists show up at a candidate’s public events and press them on the record with questions about a specific issue, so their answers are captured on video and can be tracked over time. This holds politicians accountable and helps them see the public’s interest in making meaningful change.
From July-Nov we will be:
- Searching for events where state and gubernatorial candidates will be
- Attending the events with a small team
- Asking provided questions and recording answers
- Uploading and sharing videos
