DDOT to hold two more Woodward Light Rail meetings

DDOT will be hosting two more public meetings on Woodward Light Rail. 

Two Woodward Avenue Light Rail Transit Project Neighborhood Meetings will  take place:

• Tuesday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  
  • at Hannan House, 4750 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, 48201 and
    
• Thursday, March 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  
  • at Mt. Olive Church, 9760 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, 48202.

The focus of these meetings is to give local neighborhood residents the opportunity to learn more about the Woodward Avenue Light Rail Project including:

• Details of the light rail main line and three downtown design options
• Findings of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)
• Potential project impacts and benefits for local neighborhoods 

In addition:

• Your comments will be considered in the final environmental impact statement (FEIS)
