City of Detroit Planning Commission Meeting

Join us at the City Planning Commission Meeting as they vote on the “Let’s Build More Housing, Detroit” ordinance, a zoning ordinance that would allow the kind of density that lets transit flourish. Public comment begins at 6pm, with the meeting itself beginning at 5pm. 
 
If you can attend the meeting virtually or in-person, please join us and share a 2-minute public comment in support of the ordinance! If you cannot attend the meeting, you can email the City Planning Commission at [email protected]. Ideally, both emailing and attending in-person will have the most impact.

Additionally, those who join in-person are invited to grab ice cream at Milk and Froth with our friends at Strong Towns Detroit to (hopefully!!) celebrate the passage of this ordinance by the CPC before it goes to the City Council!
