Come out to help shape the Detroit region’s future!

Join experts and neighbors for an interactive discussion on how to ensure mobility changes benefit everyone!

Hear from expert speakers from Bedrock, Ford City Solutions, Via, and Shared Use Mobility Center and ask them your questions.

Share your ideas for improving transportation equity and how new mobility should be addressed in the RTA’s regional transit plan.

Where: The Beacon Room: 1 Woodward, 2nd floor

  • In downtown Detroit in the block surrounded by Woodward, Jefferson, Griswold, and Larned. Use any entrance.

    • DDOT bus routes 3, 4, 5, 6, & 9 at the City/County Bldg
    • SMART bus routes 125, 200, 450/460, 610, all 3 FAST routes
    • People Mover – Financial District station

  • If you need to drive, parking structures are available on the northwest corner of Larned and Griswold or one block east on Larned.

Prashanth Gururaja brought his experience from here in southeast Michigan and with the US EPA to his current role as Program Director of the Shared Use Mobility Center, where he supports the Federal Transit Administration’s Mobility on Demand (MOD) Innovation and Knowledge Accelerator program

Andy Palanisamy works throughout the Midwest and Canada with Ford City Solutions to help build cities of tomorrow at the cross-section of mobility, tech, data, public policy, strategy & innovation. With experience from NASA and Harvard, he helps cities meet their energy and environmental goals. 

Kevin Bopp expanded the Parking Department he manages for Bedrock Detroit to also advance mobility alternatives, overseeing programs for carpooling, ride-sharing, vanpooling, bikes, and public transit for tenants of Bedrock’s more than 100 properties in downtown Detroit and beyond. Special thanks to Bedrock Detroit – our lead sponsor this event!
