On Wednesday evening, November 10, TRU will be hosting our fabulous fall fundraiser!!
This fun and distinctive event will include:
- A unique tour on the Detroit People Mover;
- An overview of exciting transit technologies and their potential for greater Detroit;
- How other cities used transit to get moving, physically and financially;
- Hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants;
- A silent auction featuring great deals on Detroit events and items; and
- A Motown-themed cocktail reception.
Over 220 transit supporters, Detroit enthusiasts, young professionals, and regional leaders attended TRU’s 2009 anniversary event to rave reviews.
Tickets start at $50 and benefit TRU’s vital work to improve and promote transit. This event will raise $35,000 for TRU’s advocacy.
