Michigan will soon have important new tools to support transit-oriented development, thanks to the work of transit champion and outgoing state Rep. Marie Donigan. She pushed through a key package that makes sure Michigan’s economic development tools work for transit-oriented development, such as using brownfield tax credits to build a new mixed use development at a new transit stop.
Thanks for your great work, Marie, on this and for being a great transit champion for the past six years!! We’re sorry to see you go.
