This includes roads, bridges, rail, transit, bike lanes, sidewalks, pipelines, ferries, airports. This is called federal surface transportation reauthorization (aka federal reauthorization), and is supposed to happen in 2026. Reauthorization is an opportunity to improve our federal transportation policy and prioritize transit investment nationally.

Beth also presented on a recent report by Transportation for America’s recent report on how we can get world-class transit for cities throughout the US.
