- Do you represent an organization, business or institution that wants better from Michigan’s transportation?
- Do you believe Michigan should prioritize people and planet as much as pavement and potholes?
- Think 1,000 people killed every year on Michigan roads are far too many?
- Want clean affordable transportation for all Michiganders?
TRU is partnering up with like-minded groups all across Michigan to build a powerful statewide network that will work together to reform Michigan’s transportation.
The problem: Michigan’s transportation system fails too many people: It’s too expensive, too dangerous, provides too few options, and produces too much pollution. Yet Michigan leaders continue to invest billions in the same roads and highway expansions, producing the same inadequate results.
The solution: We must change Michigan’s transportation priorities to put people first. Time to bring clean transportation advocates together into one statewide coalition advocating for:
- Transparent transportation decisions that prioritize health, access, and affordability for all Michiganders;
- More and better public transit and passenger rail services;
- Equitable expansion of electric vehicle infrastructure and access; and
- Safer biking infrastructure and more walkable communities.
If your organization agrees and wants to be part of these solutions, please complete the below form.
Note – the official name of the coalition with be co-created during 2026.
