From June 3 to June 16, TRU staff will be traveling to over 15 cities and towns in Michigan! Join us on our Round-the-Mitten Transit Tour
What is the Round-the-Mitten transit tour?
The Round-the-Mitten transit tour is a project by TRU to travel all around Michigan, without driving. We’ll be visiting large cities and small towns, from Detroit to Marquette, and Benton Harbor to Port Huron.
Why are we doing this?
We’re traveling across Michigan to meet transit advocates, enthusiasts, and riders across our state. We want to highlight what it’s like to get around our state if you don’t drive using cross-state transit, and learn what it’s like for bus riders outside of the Metro Detroit area.
How can you participate?
Join us at an event in any town we’re visiting! We want to hear from you, meet anyone interested in transit in your community, and organize to fight for more and better transit!
