Don’t have much time to spare?
- Provide a 2 minute public comment at a transit agency public meeting.
- Join a phone banking session to mobilize others around a particular issue.
- Hop on some transit and do a ride-along with Joel and various elected officials.
- Help TRU ensure the events we hold throughout the year are a success.
Do you love talking about the importance of public transportation?
Join our speaker’s bureau and receive training on how to present the facts of the current transit system. Share anecdotes that highlight the need for transit and effectively convey the potential of public transportation when we work together.
Do you want to engage more with fellow riders and residents?
- Canvass at the different transit centers and festivals.
- Table at all over SE Michigan providing information on the current state of transit and how others can get involved.
Interested in shaping the next 10 years of public transit in Western Wayne County?
Become an agent of change in Western Wayne by doing all the above to bring more funding to public transit systems in multiple cities and counties in Michigan.
