M-1 Rail’s QLINE Opening May 12, Seeking Volunteers

Detroit’s first streetcar in 60 years will begin passenger operations on Friday, May 12, 2017, starting with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony that morning. The QLINE will open to the public May 12 at 6pm and celebration activities will take place along the corridor throughout the weekend.

M-1 Rail is seeking Grand Opening Volunteers to help as ambassadors, hospitality hosts, information station captains and kid zone volunteers. QLINE All-Star must be at least 16 years of age and able to sit or stand for long periods of time. More information and sign up at M-1 RAIL website or 313-483-1336.
