TRU State of Transit 2026

This annual event is often the biggest transit night of the year, bringing together transit agency leaders, public officials, bus riders, partner groups, transit workers, news media, TRU members, and many others who want great transit throughout the metro Detroit region.
5:30 – Doors open, registration and reception
6pm – Program begins: TRU 2026 priorities, Policymakers panel, Agency leaders panel, rider perspectives, TRU board vote, opportunities to get involved
8pm – Program ends, additional networking opportunity
