UofM Minding the Gap: Detroiters Speak on Transit Justice #6
The UofM Semester in Detroit program is teaming up with TRU and our allies Detroit People’s Platform and Detroit Disabilit Power to present Minding the Gaps: Detroiters Speak on Transit Justice. Over six sessions, we’ll unpack the history of Detroit’s relationship to local and regional transit long before it was the Motor City, plus learn more about where the city is heading through topics such as accessibility, affordability, service improvements, environmental impact, funding and policy, and more. This session’s topic is Wrap-Up: Where is Detroit Headed in Transit Justice?
This series is free and open to anyone. Each session takes place Thursdays @ 6:30-8:30p. Dinner is served each session @ 6:30p. Free, onsite childcare provided by MotorCity Sitters. Additionally, a virtual option is available, with the Zoom beginning at 7.
Register for sessions with the UofM Detroit Center here.
