The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) wants to hear YOUR thoughts on improving regional public transportation! Join TRU and the RTA as we host a ‘Virtual Community Listening Session on Regional Transit‘ on Wednesday, June 30th at 5:30pm. This Listening Session will be the first in a series of community engagement sessions by the RTA. All transit riders and allies from Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw counties are invited.
Our Community Listening Session is your opportunity to tell the RTA what services and improvements YOU think belong in their Regional Master Plan. By collecting this feedback, the RTA aims to better understand community priorities and expectations for regional public transportation. All public comments collected will be considered for upcoming Regional Master plan revisions later this year. The session will also utilize interactive online tools to capture the discussion.
TRU strongly urges ALL of our transit community to join and provide essential feedback. The RTA needs your voice for the Regional Master Plan to succeed, so tell them what they ought to know! Attend our Virtual Community Listening Session on Regional Transit – Wednesday, June 30th at 5:30pm.
